At last year's Grand Session, it was decided to do away with the second portion of the dues cards. All local secretaries will need to keep good records of their members and only send in the report card and check after an order has conferred candidates. It is not necessary for the Grand to keep the bottom half of the dues cards.  All local secretaries should have their own method of keeping the petitions with the members’ names on them.

Also, I would like to remind each secretary and commander that when scheduling a meeting to confer the degree, the by-laws state that you are to get permission from the MHGCC to do the conferral. Please let me know when you want to schedule the work so I might okay it and also put it on my schedule.
