Walter W. Doyle 1952-Present
Walter W. Doyle (8th) Most Honorable Grand Commander in Chief Served: 2007-Present In 1974 he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, there he was assistant Pastor, youth director and music director for Hilltop Baptist Church. In late 1975, he returned to Springfield, Missouri, where he met his wife, Darlene. They were married on May 26, 1976. They are the parents of three sons, Jeff, Raymond and David, and one daughter, Betty and one daughter-in-law, Melissa and grandson, Christopher. Walter is currently a member of West Division Street Baptist Church, where he is head usher, head of security and 3rd grade Sunday school teacher. In March of 1977, Walter went to work for Swift Transportation as Salesman, dispatcher and eventually became Regional Vice-President and Terminal Manager. He was employed with Swift Transportation from March 1977 to 1992, when the company decided to close the Springfield Terminal. At that time, he decided to change professions and went to work for Ayer-Goodwin Lee at Rivermont. While in their employment, he achieved Counselor of year honors. After a year, he realized his heart was in the transportation industry and went to work for U.S. Express, where he is currently employed as Traffic Manager and Sales Representative.
