SYMBOLISM OF THE SWORD OF BUNKER HILL LOGO:
Our Ritual book, "Sword of Bunker Hill, History of the Sons of Liberty", during our initiation, tells the candidate that Brother General Joseph Warren was the commander of the American forces at Bunker Hill. He was a noble patriot, who was first in Masonry (the first Grand Master of Masons of America) and was the first great light to be extinguished in the cause for American Liberty.
During the Battle of Bunker Hill, he was slain by a sword thrust into his body by a British Officer. Additionally, conceiving, forming and establishing the United States of America was because of the influence of Masons and Masonry in every great event of our country.
Our Logo is a sword, representing the sword found sheathed in the body of General Joseph Warren, thus we should never forget the sacrifices made by many Masons in forming and establishing the United States of America.
